My Dichotomous Relationship with Apple Inc.

Being a (somewhat) creative person, I own a Mac. Also being a hopeless geek, I own a PC. There are so many things that a Mac does well. But there are an equal number of things a Windows machine does well too. When the iPhone debuted in 2007, I wanted it. Nay; needed it. My iPod of five years just died on me and I required some sort of replacement device. Seeing all the demos of what this device could do made me drool. However, it only was available for AT&T. I was/am on Verizon and knew how terrible AT&T network was/is. I could not bring myself to switch. As a result, I bought an iPod Touch a few months later. As with the iPhone, I love this device. What Apple has been able to do with media consumption is amazing. Yet I cannot get past all of the shiny, magical, milled from a solid block of shit they have manufactured. I would go on, but the multi-talented Peter Serafinowicz puts it best. Please read on.Serafinowicz: Five Reasons I Love Apple and Five Reason I Hate AppleOn a somewhat related note, thanks to AT&T's exclusivity contract, I just bought an HTC Incredible.
