My New Nephew

See that face to the right? That's my new nephew...well, he's my only nephew. But he is new nonetheless. There was significant difficulty during labor but my sister-in-law is really tough. In the end, they both made it through just fine.His name is Zachary and he is awesome. I drove down to my brother and sister's house in the Washington, D.C. area and had some time with him. To be honest, he slept mostly. But his sleeping does make sense. This kid was finishing up week two of his development. There are millions of cellular processes that happen right after birth. To say the least, the energy required to maintain those processes is incredible.So I don't feel snubbed by his lack of conciseness.
