Amazing Aural Experience

As you may know from an earlier post I am still looking for a good set of headphones to use on my commute. The wireless route did not work so well. So I was always on the lookout for another solution. Knowing this, one of my coworkers sent me a link to the Guitar Center online store. Let me tell you, God bless Guitar Center. Guitar Center was running a deal for a limited time. The deal was for a pair of professional, low profile personal monitoring in-ear canalphones. For those of you playing the home game, that means really really good earphones. These earphones' usual retail price is $150. The two week deal featured these earphones at $60. I had to get them. But I have been burned before. I could not take advantage of this deal until I knew they would be right for me. By this time my coworker already clicked "Buy" and was awaiting the shipping confirmation. So considering the estimated ship time, I decided I would wait to see my coworker's pair before ordering a pair for myself. A week later they arrived and after my coworker played with them, he let me take them for a test drive. They were glorious. They were comfortable, lightweight, and sounded amazing. I would go into the specifics of them but I am incapable of topping my coworker's post on this matter.Obviously I ordered myself a pair and before I knew it they arrived. Unfortunately, I was so busy at work that day I had to open them up and try them out on the train ride home. They were fantastic. Correction: are fantastic. In fact, I am listening to music with them as I am writing this. I feel so relieved when this little earbuds are in. The noisy world just melts away and all I am left with is my music. These little aural angels have delivered me to a haven for music that is so beautiful and serene that I may never leave. In fact, I mean not to.UPDATE: Guitar Center has extended the deal until May 31, 2009!! They are now $70 but it is still worth it. Get them now!!
